Hey audio fans!
For those of you who are waiting for the 2013 binaural recording. I an sorry to say that it has been delayed. I destroyed my headphones in the sheer excitement of mixing it and now I have to wait for my friend to fix them. I was pretty much finished with the mix too, all I need to do is master it. Shouldn’t be too much longer now and I am sorry for making you wait longer. It will be worth it!

Here’s an asset that will go into our Space Vikings level. It’s here they battle it out for glory. The cage you see is currently open, but when it’s closed… That’s when the fighting really starts.
The asset has a diffuse, normal and spec. The screenshot was taken in UDK game engine.
Currently mixing our 2013 binaural recording of Ara. There’s a little surprise for you guys in the mix, something new I am trying with the binaural head but you’ll have to wait until it’s released to find out what it is so watch this space.
616 tris with 512 Diffuse, Normal and Spec maps. I actually have 3 diffuse maps, 2 are for the animation you see below and the third has a broken screen. The images below are screenshots from the Unity Game Engine.
This image is a render from Maya showing the front and back of the TV. You can see the spec map in the lower image at the upper left corner of the back of the TV. I’m pretty happy with how it looks now but I want to learn more about Unity so I can get it looking better in there and not have to render from Maya so much.
Here’s an animatic for a VERY short film I am making. The final animation will be 3D modelled.
I’m hoping to enter this into DeviantART’s ‘Train Your Brain’ competition. Thus the brain theme. The 1st prize for animation is a trip to Pixar Animation Studios so I really want to win.
I’ll post more progress videos as I go. I’m working on the blood right now, making sure it splats well! As for the audio, i’m going to have a lot of fun making splat sounds 
Only 3 weeks, better get back to it!

For the past few months i’ve been working on my band’s debut EP ‘Overtime’ with our Producer Nelson Muhire and Mastering Enigneer, Andrew Edgson. It was hard work recording and mixing the EP but now at the end of it all with the EP launch in sight, I can safely say that it is greatly satisfying to follow a project from its humble beginnings of songwriting right through to the mastering and CD production.
The EP launch will be on the 17th of November at FBi Social at the Kings Cross Hotel. Hope to see you there!
